Best of friends.....

Meet Leiarna, Leo's best girlie. They met last year before Leo could walk or talk and over the months they have become the best of buddies.  Every time we go out in the car he looks at me and asks "'arna?" 


They often seem to act like an old married couple, Leiarna will usually take two of any food offered to pass one to Leo, and she frequently tells him he is making a mess. They bicker over toys and have a bit of a fight but then hug, kiss and make up just as fast.

    My Angel (now 18) was like that with her first 'boy' friend, at 4 years old he asked her to marry him!

    Leiarna just liked looking at the pictures. She had a nightmare last night and when I asked her this morning what it was about she said " Leo screaming, Leiarna crying" "Leiarna and Leo crying" Bless!! She was sad coz he was! xx

    Aww, love it. Missy Woo has been friends with a boy since they were about 2 and now they are in the same class at school. She doesn't talk about him much tho now. She's gone very girly.

My best Slimming World recipe EVER! - Cheesy Meatball Pasta Bake

Since going back to Slimming World at the start of January I've been making an effort to try some new recipes and keep varying my food every day. Although there is an endless choice when it comes to what you 'can' eat with Slimming World, like anything it's all too easy to fall into a habit of eating the same things day in and day out.  I have many SW cookbooks as well as a folder with lots of recipes that I've collected from the magazine over the years, I've actually made very few though! Last week I decided to try a new one out, and I wish I'd made it sooner! Cheesy Meatball Pasta Bake was a massive hit with the whole family and possibly one of the best main Slimming World meals I've ever made! You need... You may have noticed a bit less in the way of blogging from me over the last couple of weeks, although this was handily disguised by Christmas the real reason can now be revealed.... Yep..... I'm pregnant! Regular readers of my blog will possibly guess this wasn't entirely planned (or even vaguely!) but 'Que Sera sera' and all that! I found out just before Christmas and although I was fairly sure as I took the test (even though one before had been negative) it was still  huge shock to see those two lines staring back at me.  People had asked if we planned to have another and my standard response was always 'No, but never say never'  Truthfully I'd always wanted two children but finances and living space was never conducive to having a bigger family.  The timing could be MUCH better, as Aaron is still looking for work, and we are struggling, and we sold Leo's cot only in November! but as several people have told us, it will all work out in the ...
