Flashback Friday

A few weeks ago I posted two similar photos as part of Cafe Bebe's Flashback Friday link up. This week I decided to even things up a little...

This is my hubby at 6 weeks old.


People often tell me now that Leo looks very much like AJ, I usually smile and nod as I just think he looks like Leo!

I've never been very good it seems at working out which parent a baby most resembles, when asked who a baby looks like my standard response is 'He looks like a baby!'

    I can't see much resemblance in these 2 photos I must admit. I think people see what they want to see in babies. Sometimes the resemblance is obvious and very striking but not here. Have you compared Leo as a baby to you as a a baby? Xx

    I soo agree with you, in fact I wrote a post about it as sometimes I think new hormonal mums can get very upset with certain comments made on who the baby look slike. Love your Leo and you'll see him change so much as he grows it's fascinating.

    I think babies do look like themselves most of the time and people just say it to be polite. Infact, we had a photo of our daughter taken with our MIL's 93 year old Godmother (so no relation at all) and quite a few people said "Ooooh don't they look alike".

    Ooooh Mari, I need to see that post. It's one thing that made me sob my heart out when F was a newborn. My MIL kept ringing, emailing and texting with "so and so says F looks the image of me". Grrr.

My best Slimming World recipe EVER! - Cheesy Meatball Pasta Bake

Since going back to Slimming World at the start of January I've been making an effort to try some new recipes and keep varying my food every day. Although there is an endless choice when it comes to what you 'can' eat with Slimming World, like anything it's all too easy to fall into a habit of eating the same things day in and day out.  I have many SW cookbooks as well as a folder with lots of recipes that I've collected from the magazine over the years, I've actually made very few though!
